Gourmet Food & Wine Outlets

One of the delights of visiting Bruny Is is the opportunity to sample all the renowned and fabulous gourmet food products grown or made on the island.

Just off the ferry are the delectable pies and muffins at the Robert Point kiosk, freshly baked every day. Followed soon after by the Bruny Island House of Whiskey a fully licensed bistro & bottle shop and producer of  award winning smoked produce.

Turning north to Dennes Point, you will find the Jetty Cafe with fantastic coffee and light meals.

At Great Bay be sure to call in at Get Shucked Oysters for your supply of fresh Bruny Is oysters or a tempting platter and wine at their new oyster bar. The famous Bruny Island Cheese Co is practically next door where you can sample not only amazing cheeses but the best crusty bread and pizzas straight from the wood fired oven and wonderful Bruny Island Beer.

For those with a sweet tooth do not miss the Bruny Is Providore factory outlet soon after the turnoff to Adventure Bay. Here you will find a mouthwatering range of handmade chocolate fudges, truffles and chocolate sauces. You can sample before you buy and the shelves are laden with tempting goodies.

Further into Adventure Bay in an idyllic valley setting overlooking beautiful Two Tree Point beach, The Bruny Island Berry farm has a large selection of fresh berries when in season and always features delicious waffles, scones, pancakes or muffins along with some savoury options for a tempting light meal.

Bruny Island Premium Wines can be found further south at Lunawanna. It is in fact Australia's southernmost vineyard. Here you can enjoy sampling the award winning wines and savour a tasty meal in the Bar & Grill.
